\"\"<\/a><\/span>Titulaire d'une ma\u00eetrise en histoire \u00e9conomique et sociale de l'universit\u00e9 d'\u00c9dimbourg, en \u00c9cosse, Danny a travaill\u00e9 pendant dix ans dans le domaine de l'\u00e9ducation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans diff\u00e9rents pays, dans divers contextes et avec des personnes pr\u00e9sentant divers besoins et handicaps psychiatriques et\/ou \u00e9ducatifs sp\u00e9ciaux, avant de retourner dans le monde universitaire. Il a obtenu une ma\u00eetrise (Open University, Royaume-Uni) en psychologie tout en travaillant comme coordinateur d'un projet de validation d'un programme de rem\u00e9diation des \u00e9motions pour les personnes atteintes d'autisme et\/ou de d\u00e9ficience intellectuelle.<\/p>\n

He obtained his doctorate (summa cum laude) from the University of Neuch\u00e2tel, Switzerland in June, 2017, under the supervision of Professor Fabrice Cl\u00e9ment. During that time and since, he completed SNSF fellowships at UC Berkeley, USA with Professor Joseph J. Campos, at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands with Professor Agneta Fischer and the University of Oxford, UK with Professor Brian Parkinson. Having spent four years in the special education department at the University of Fribourg under Professors Andrea Samson, Myriam Squillaci, and Genevi\u00e8ve Petitpierre, Danny then spent a year as senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Family Reseach and Counseling under Professor Dominik Schoebi.<\/p>\n

Danny is currently employed part-time as senior researcher in Professor David Sander’s lab at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences and the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Geneva. Since 2020, he has also been Series Co-editor of the Studies in Emotion and Social Interaction book series at Cambridge University Press.<\/p>\n
